Things to Do

At Langdale Chase, you can do as much as you wish, or, of course, we will help you to kick back and fine tune the art of doing absolutely nothing. Our team are on hand to help you plan your stay to get the most out of it, and our hotel car can be booked to pick you up or get you into position around the Lakes.

The options are endless – climb a mountain, wander up a nearby fell, or jump on a bike, we are here to help you pack it all in. Take a trip out on (… or in!) the lake or get a rush from a 4×4 adventure, there is plenty for the more actively minded.

Alternatively, stay close to us, take in a movie in our private cinema, challenge your palette with a wine tasting, have afternoon tea, or go on a garden tour with our Head Gardener.

Whatever happens, we are here to make your stay memorable, so if it is playing a game in our lounges, settling into a quiet corner of our reading room, curling up by the fire, or simply some quiet time sitting back and soaking up the incredible views that floats your boat, we will be on hand to make sure that you don’t have to move a muscle!
